Kwandwe Private Game Reserve comprises three exclusive safari lodges in the malaria-free African wilderness of the Eastern Cape Province. Exceptional Big Five game viewing on day and night drives introduces you to wildlife such as Lion, Wild Dog, Cheetah, Rhino, Hippo, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffe.
The lodge offers sweeping views of the Great Fish River, where the riverine thicket consists of Cape Bushwillow, Sweet and Karee Thorn Dominant Trees. As the river level fluctuates markedly, the broad sand bars are either exposed or covered. The reserve comprises 6 of South Africa's 7 biomes which makes the vegetation range from bushclump savanna-thicket to tall succulent-thicket with Honey Euphorbia and Cape Candelabra.
