Accommodation at Lalibela Game Reserve consists of 3 lodges, each with its own unique character. Individually set thatched chalets in the surrounding of magnificent gardens are exclusively furnished and stylishly decorated.
The location of Lalibela makes it the perfect family safari destination. Child minders look after your children while you are on an early morning game drive. Later in the day, children go on their private kiddies game drive. These game viewing activities are conducted in special game viewing vehicles accompanied by the children's own ranger taking care to avoid any close encounters with the dangerous game. In the evening children can get creative with some arts and crafts activities.
The Lentaba Lodge
Lentaba Lodge accommodates a maximum of 20 guests in 10 secluded thatched chalets. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom, private viewing deck and ceiling fan. This lodge on the hillside is placed, where magnificent gardens merge into the surrounding bush.
The main lodge, decorated in traditional safari style, comprises a large lounge, sunny swimming pool and viewing deck. Delicious African cuisine is served either in the stylish indoor dining room or open-air boma. Brunch is served al fresco on the main viewing deck.
Tree Tops
Tree Tops is the tented camp at Lalibela Game Reserve, which accommodates a maximum of 10 guests in 5 luxury safari tents. These tents are perched high on thatched platforms at tree top level and connected by raised walkways. Offering spectacular views over the thickly-wooded valley, the rooms have canvas walls, thatched roofs and huge window areas.
Each room comprises a private verandah for guests to sit and relax in privacy. Tree Tops has a large lounge and expansive viewing deck over a small waterhole. Guests can cool down from the heat of the day in the swimming pool or relax in the shaded gazebo. Delicious dinners are served on the open-air dining deck.
Mark's Camp
Mark's Camp accommodates a maximum of 20 guests in 4 stone and thatch chalets as well as 3 family chalets decorated in a relaxed Pan-African style. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan and private deck overlooking the waterhole. The lodge comprises a large lounge, expansive viewing deck and swimming pool. African cuisine is served in the indoor dining area or outdoor dining boma.
