Accommodation at Pumba Private Game Reserve consists of the 2 lodges Pumba Lodge and Msenge Lodge. Facilities include a thatched restaurant serving delicious African cuisine in the central dining room, open-air boma or main viewing deck. Private candlelit dinners are available on request.
The Cocktail Bush Bar is fully stocked with a range of local and international drinks. The guest lounge offers the opportunity to watch satellite television. The Curio Shop sells locally produced curios, clothing and artworks as well as postcards and sunscreen.
The Pumba Lodge
Pumba Lodge comprises 12 thatched, stone-walled waterfront cottages. There is one one-bed suite, one double-bedded suite, 2 cottages with a 4-poster kingsize bed and a double sleeper couch each, 2 honeymoon suites, 6 twin-bedded cottages and one twin-bedded suite. Each room has air-conditioning and heating, mini bar fridge and a comfortable fireplace.
Binoculars, bird and animal books are also provided. Special facilities are the telephone and alarm clock which make your accommodation comfortable but luxurious. A separate bath and shower with heated towel rails and twin vanities belongs to every room.
The cottages open up onto private timber and game viewing decks with an outside shower and private plunge pool. All bedrooms and bathrooms offer underfloor heating for extra comfort during cool winter nights. A free-standing bathtub, double basins and bathrobes ensure your absolute comfort. Pumba Lodge also offers a conference room for 20 delegates.
The Msenge Lodge
Msenge Lodge accommodates guests in 11 luxurious, glass enclosed thatched chalets, each individually set in the African bush. Each cottage overlooks a small waterhole and flood plain against the backdrop of mountains. The rooms offer private viewing decks with plunge pool and outdoor shower, en-suite bathrooms with a separate bath and shower as well as a private dressing room and kingsize beds. Air-conditioning, ceiling fans and heating are provided in each chalet.
