This Karoo heartland accommodation sleeps just 12 guests ensuring that you have an intimate South African safari holiday. The accommodation is split between 5 luxury safari tents, 3 luxury en-suite rooms in the hunting lodge, and 2 double self-catering units in the farmhouse.
Nyala Valley Safari Tents
Situated overlooking the Nyala valley, are 5 luxurious double thatched tents. Each has a spacious viewing deck which has fantastic views over the Karoo landscape – providing a great vantage point from which to spot game below. These tents are perfect for those looking for a romantic getaway in the African bush.
The tents come with a mini bar and an ice-service every afternoon at 5pm, perfect for bush sundowners. Guests can enjoy delicious dinners and breakfasts either up on the Lodge veranda or in the bush Lapa.
The Hunting Lodge
The hunting lodge has 3 luxury en-suite rooms, and 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities. The reception rooms consist of a bar, a dining room with an indoor barbeque, and a games room with a pool table and TV. There is even a fully equipped kitchen so the lodge can be hired on a self-catering basis for groups travelling together.
The Historic Farmhouse
The original farmhouse has been converted into two, 2 bed self-catering rooms. Each has a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a second room with 2 singles, making these rooms perfect for family groups. There is a comfortable lounge and dining area, as well as a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven and stove, crockery and cutlery and cooking utensils.
